According to a United Nations study, there is a world-wide opposition to gender equality.
The United Nations Development Programme's index, which went into publication on March 5, found that almost 90% of individuals have a bias against women. 91% of men and 86% of women have a bias towards women in politics, economics, education, violence or reproductive rights, according to the gender social Norm Index, which was created as a result of data from 75 countries that make up more than 80% of the world's population. When you look at the statistics covering the 2005-2009 and 2010-2014 time intervals, nearly half of the global population thinks that men are superior political leaders, while more than 40% think that men are better corporate executives.
