Women UP Project Provides Grant Support
According to the details of the Support to Registered Women's Employment Project, 4 thousand women employers in the 7 provinces where the project will be implemented will be provided with a monthly financial support of approximately 5 thousand TL per female worker they hire. This grant support will continue for 20 months. The total grant support paid during the payment period will reach 110 thousand TL.
The Project for Supporting Registered Women's Employment (WOMEN-UP), carried out by the Social Security Institution and funded by the
Republic of Turkey and
the European Union, is recording grant support. In this program, which supports women entrepreneurs, 4,000 women employers will receive financial support of 5,150 TL per month per female worker they hire. The total amount of financial support is approximately 25 million Euros.
The provinces where the support will be provided are as follows: Istanbul, Ankara, Aydın, Denizli, Kahramanmaraş, Samsun and Şanlıurfa
Application Conditions:
- Employer women will apply through the 'supporting registered women's employment project grant pre-application and follow-up' address under the 'SGK institution services' tab in e-Devlet. The female worker to be employed must be hired before the pre-application.
- The female worker to be employed must be unemployed for at least one month.
- The worker must not be a first-degree relative of the employer.
- The hired worker must be under 65 years of age.
- The additional worker must not have a pension due to his/her own work (receiving a widow's or orphan's pension is not an obstacle).
- Only women entrepreneurs will benefit from the grant, and companies with partners must have at least two women partners.
- The enterprise must have been established after March 5, 2012. The additional female employee must have been hired after February 21, 2022.
- The female employer must be registered in the chamber of trades, industry or commerce depending on the nature of the business.
- The female employer must employ a maximum of 9 workers. An application can also be made if the employer has no employees.
- The employer must not owe more than 6 thousand 471 liras (gross minimum wage) in premiums to the SSI, excluding the structured ones.
