2020 Leases of the Airports Have Been Canceled
The 2020 leases of the airports have been canceled. Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, made a statement on the issue.
Adil Karaismailoğlu, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, announced that the amounts of the lease invoices held in 2020 at the
airports operated by the General Directorate of State Airports Authority and whose maturity is postponed to January 31, 2021 will be canceled.
Details of the support for the aviation industry, one of the sectors worst affected by the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic, were determined. Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, made a statement on the issue on his official Twitter account. Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that the amounts of rental invoices arranged in 2020 at the airports operated by the General Directorate of State Airports Authority and whose maturity is postponed to January 31, 2021, will be canceled. Karaismailoğlu stated that the rental fees for the period 2021-2022 will be applied with a 50 percent discount for 2 years. While there was no increase in the rental fees for the year 2021, there was no increase in the 2021 DHMI tariff.
Minister Karaismailoğlu said the following on his post;
