Akbank will make the flexible working model permanent. The system implemented during the pandemic period will be the new working order.
Akbank announced that the
flexible working system implemented during the coronavirus epidemic will be permanent from now on. Akbank General Manager Hakan Binbaşgil gave information on how the new system will work.
Binbaşgil said, “The world has entered a brand new era with the process we are going through. The rapid change in customer habits and business models in recent years has accelerated with the pandemic process. The rapid adaptation of institutions to changing environments, agility and courage are essential for success today. At Akbank, we switch to a brand new working model after the pandemic. We are taking a bold step towards the future of the business. We are now making the flexibility in our working order permanent. " and explained that they designed the working system to be used after the epidemic in three different ways: 'remote working', 'hybrid' and 'working from the office'. Binbaşgil continued his words as follows:
“We have adopted a model that takes the working life out of the molds as we did from the banking molds. With our new working order, Akbank is everywhere. This new working order will bring new expansions to our bank. The different service quality, efficiency and agility level will increase the customer acquisition and growth rate of our bank. We are very excited to implement the working model of the future at Akbank today.”
Stating that they manage the pandemic process very well and listen to their employees at every stage of the process and take action in this direction, Akbank Deputy General Manager for Human and Culture Pınar Anapa gave the following information:
“We, as Akbank, are ready for the future with three different business models: Our branches, where we provide one-on-one and face-to-face service to our customers, will continue to work locally, while 52 percent of our Headquarters teams will work remotely, 36 percent in a hybrid layout, and 12 percent from the Office.”
