BIST 100 Index Closed the Day with a Decrease on August 18
BIST 100 index closed the day with a decrease on August 18. BIST 100 index depreciated 0.83 percent in Borsa Istanbul and ended the day at 1,449.59 points.
At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the BIST 100 index, which decreased by 12.10 points compared to the previous closing, was recorded as 14.3 billion TL. At the close, the banking index depreciated by 0.28 percent, while the holding index depreciated by 0.87 percent. Among the sector indices, construction was the highest earner with 1.91 percent, while the most decline was recorded on sports with 2.29 percent. Analysts said that after the US Federal Reserve (FED) Chairman Jerome Powell repeated that the economy was far from pre-coronavirus (Covid-19) levels, the sales-heavy trend in the global stock markets was replaced by a mixed course.İLGİLİ HABERLER
