BIST 100 Index Closed the Day with an Increase on September 2
BIST 100 index closed the day with an increase on September 2. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.34 percent and finished the day with 1,479.12 points.
At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the
BIST 100 index, which increased by 4.99 points compared to the previous closing, was recorded as 11.5 billion TL.
At the close, the banking index gained 0.48 percent, while the holding index gained 0.94 percent. Among the sector indices, the highest earner was sports with 2.49 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on construction with 1.83 percent.
Analysts stated that after the ADP private sector employment data, which was well below expectations in the USA yesterday, eyes were turned to the employment report in the USA, which will be announced tomorrow, and stated that the said data may increase volatility as it is important to affect the monetary policy in the USA.
It was stated that the intense data agenda will be followed tomorrow, especially inflation in the country, non-farm employment in the USA, retail sales in the Eurozone, and the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) to be announced worldwide.
In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.490 is in a resistance position and the level of 1.455 stands out as the support for the
BIST 100 index.
