BIST 100 Index Started the Day With An Increase on September 3

BIST 100 index started the day with increase on September 3. BIST 100 index gained 0.09 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day at 1.480.53 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which increased by 1.40 points and 0.09 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,480.53 points. While the banking index gained 0.12 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.09 percent. Among the sector indices, tourism was the highest earner with 0.73 percent, while the most decline was recorded on forestry paper printing with 0.10 percent. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul followed a positive course and closed the day at 1,479.12 points with an increase of 0.34 percent. Analysts stated that today, the inflation in the country, the employment report in the USA abroad, retail sales in the Eurozone and the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data of the services sector that will be announced worldwide will be monitored closely. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1.490 is in the resistance position and the level of 1.455 stands out as the support for the BIST 100 index.
