BIST 100 Index Started Thursday Horizontally

BIST 100 index started Thursday horizontally on September 2. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul increased by 0.05 percent and started the day with 1,474.85 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which increased by 0.72 points and 0.05 percent compared to the previous close, reached 1,474.85 points. While the banking index gained 0.06 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.18 percent. Among the sector indices, tourism was the highest earner with 0,64 percent, while the most decline was recorded on construction with 0.42 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul continued its positive course after the growth data announced yesterday and finished the day at 1,474.13 points, gaining 0.14 percent value. Analysts stated that after the ADP private sector employment data, which was well below expectations in the USA yesterday, eyes were turned to the non-farm employment data in the USA, which will be announced tomorrow, and said that the data may increase volatility as it is important enough to affect the monetary policy in the USA. Stating that the search for direction in the global stock markets continues, analysts reminded that today, domestic exports, Producer Price Index (PPI) in the Eurozone, factory orders and weekly unemployment claims data in the USA will be monitored. In technical terms, analysts  stated that the level of 1.490 is in the resistance position and the level of 1.455 stands out as the support for the BIST 100 index.
