BIST 100 Index Closed Tuesday With Gains

BIST 100 index closed Tuesday with gains. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.34 percent and ended the day with 1,437.46 points.

At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the BIST 100 index, which increased by 4.85 points compared to the previous closing, was recorded as 15.4 billion TL. At the close, the banking index gained 0.76 percent, while the holding index gained 1.01 percent. Among the sector indices, the biggest gainer was trade with 4.31 percent, while the most decline was recorded on sports with 3.45 percent. Analysts said that the concerns about the delta variant are the main factor suppressing the stock markets. It was stated that tomorrow, foreign trade indices in the country, inflation data to be announced in the USA and Germany abroad and the statements of the US Federal Reserve officials will be monitored. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1,440 stands out as resistance and the level of 1,390 is in the position of support for the BIST 100 index.
