BIST 100 Index Ends The Day With an Increase

BIST 100 index ends the day with an increase on September 29. BIST 100 index gained 0.59 percent in Borsa Istanbul and closed the day with 1,391.92 points.

At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the BIST 100 index, which increased by 8.15 points compared to the previous close, was recorded as 12.4 billion liras. At the close, the banking index gained 1.58 percent, while the holding index gained 0.83 percent. While banking was the most profitable sector indices, while the most decline was recorded on metal main industry with 0.85 percent. Analysts said that after the sharp fall in world stock markets yesterday due to increasing inflationary pressures led by problems in the supply chain and energy supply, an increase in risk appetite is observed in the markets today. Analysts stated that tomorrow's statements from the world's leading central banks will be at the focus of the markets, and stated that the foreign trade statistics, weekly money and bank statistics, growth in the USA and England, Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) in China will be closely monitored while the inflation was prominent in Germany. In technical terms, it was stated that the levels of 1,370 and 1.340 are in a position of support and the level of 1.420 stands out as the resistance for the BIST 100 index.
