BIST 100 index started Friday with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.23 percent and started the day with 1,413.99 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 3.21 points and 0.23 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,413.99 points. While the banking index gained 0.39 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.27 percent. Among the sector indices, financial leasing factoring was the highest earner with 1.80 percent, while the only depreciation was recorded on construction with 0.21 percent. Yesterday, BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul moved with buyers and finished the day with 1,410.79 points with 0.60 percent gain. Analysts stated that volatility in the bond and stock markets decreased despite contradictory statements from the US Federal Reserve (FED) officials, and said that the agreement on the $ 1.2 trillion infrastructure plan in the USA, the Fed's stress test results and the positive data flow supports the positive course in the stock markets. Reminding that the data agenda is calm in the country today, and that the personal income and expenditures in the USA and the University of Michigan consumer confidence index will be followed abroad, the analysts said that the statements from the ongoing European Union Leaders' Summit and FED officials are also in the focus of the agenda. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1,400 stands out as support, and the levels of 1.420 and 1.429 will be followed as resistance for the BIST 100 index.
