BIST 100 Index Started Friday With an Increase

BIST 100 index started Friday with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.13 percent and started the day with 1,433.60 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which gained 1.82 points and 0.13 percent compared to the previous close, reached 1,433.60 points. While the banking index depreciated by 0.09 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.12 percent. Among the sector indices, informatics was the highest earner with 0.54 percent, while the most decline was recorded on sports with 0.35 percent. Although the BIST 100 index started the day with a decrease in Borsa Istanbul yesterday, it started to rise with the strengthening of purchases and finished the day at 1,431.78 points with an increase of 1.27 percent. Analysts stated that the non-farm employment data to be announced in the USA today is important in terms of measuring the impact of the delta variant on economies after the mixed macroeconomic data set and that a mixed course was observed in the stock markets before the data. Today, it was stated that the Treasury cash balance and the market participants survey of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey will be monitored domestically. In technical terms, analysts stated that the levels of 1.440 and 1.470 are in the resistance position and the level of 1.390 stands out as the support for the BIST 100 index.
