BIST 100 index started the day with a rise on September 17. BIST 100 index gained 0.42 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1,424.04 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which increased by 6.01 points and 0.42 percent compared to the previous close, reached 1,424.04 points.
While the banking index gained 0.70 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.48 percent. Among the sector indices, sports with 0.99 percent earned the most, while the most decline was recorded on real estate investment partnerships were the ones that lost the most, with 0.30 percent.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in
Borsa Istanbul followed a sales-weighted course and ended the day at 1,418.03 points with a decrease of 0.42 percent.
Analysts noted that the search for direction in the stock markets came to the fore with the concerns about the effects of the coronavirus epidemic on the global economic recovery and the uncertainties regarding the course of monetary policies.
It was stated that today, the market participants survey and short-term external debt statistics of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey will be monitored in the country, inflation in the Eurozone and the University of Michigan Consumer Confidence Index in the USA will be monitored abroad.
In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.390 stands out as the support and the the level of 1.430 is a position of resistance for the BIST 100 index.
