BIST 100 Index Started The Day With An Increase

BIST 100 index started the day with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.11% and opened the day with 1,374.44 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 1.46 points and 0.11 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,374.44 points. While the banking index gained 0.08 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.16 percent. Among the sector indices, IT was the highest earner with 0.58 percent, while the most decline was recorded on financial leasing and factoring with 0.91 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which was trading with sellers on Thursday, closed the day at 1,372.98 points with a 1.27 percent depreciation. Analysts stated that the minutes of the last meeting of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) published yesterday revealed that the uncertainties about the decrease in asset purchases will occupy the agenda for a long time, even if the asset purchases continue. It was stated that today, the balance of payments and the market participants survey of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), the statements of the European Central Bank (ECB) President Christine Lagarde and the FED's monetary policy report will be closely monitored. In technical terms, it was stated that levels of 1.400 and 1.440 are in the resistance position and the level of 1,350 stands out as support for the BIST 100 index.
