BIST 100 Index Started The Day With An Increase On October 26

BIST 100 index started the day with an increase on October 26. BIST 100 index gained 0.55 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1,501.17 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 8.24 points and 0.55 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,501.17 points. While the banking index gained 0.54 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.42 percent. Among the sector indices, sports were the highest earners with 2.15 percent, while the most decline was recorded on insurance with 0.05 percent. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul carried the upward trend for the sixth consecutive trading day and closed at 1,492.93 points with an increase of 0.88 percent. Analysts stated that the positive trend in the global stock markets was maintained as the company's profitability continued to exceed expectations in the third quarter. It was stated that today the data agenda is calm in the country, and abroad, new home sales in the USA, consumer confidence index and Richmond Fed industrial index data will be followed. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.510 is in the resistance position and the level of 1.480 stands out as the support for the BIST 100 index.
