BIST 100 Index Started The Week With A Decline
BIST 100 index started the week with a decline. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul lost 0.39 percent and started the day with 1,357.93 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which lost 5.35 points and 0.39 percent compared to the previous close, fell to 1,357.93 points.
While the banking index depreciated by 0.60 percent at the opening, the holding index depreciated by 0.34 percent. Among the sector indices, informatics was the most profitable with 1.06%, while the most decline was recorded on transportation with 0.65 percent.

Borsa Istanbul, which moved with sellers on Friday, lost value by 0.29% and closed at 1,363.28 points.
After the transactions to be carried out on Borsa Istanbul until 12:45 today, the Eid al-Adha holiday, which will last until the end of the week, will begin.
Analysts stated that today, the summary of the domestic consumer confidence index and the meeting of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) Monetary Policy Committee on July 14 will be followed. It was noted that global markets followed a negative course with increasing coronavirus cases, inflation concerns and uncertainties regarding monetary policies.
In technical terms, it was stated that the the level of 1.320 is in the support position and the level of 1.400 stands out as resistance for the BIST 100 index.
