BIST 100 index started Thursday with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.63 percent and started the day with 1,419.69 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which increased by 8.82 points and 0.63 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,419.69 points. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul ended the day at 1,410.87 points with a loss of 1.85 percent, acting mainly on sales. The Central Bank of Korea announced today that it has signed a 17.5 billion TL (2.3 trillion South Korean won) swap agreement with the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, which will be effective as of today. Analysts stated that after the inflation data was announced in the USA yesterday, expectations for tightening in monetary policies were postponed and this situation supported the stock markets. Analysts, who said that the domestic markets diverged positively with the effect of the swap agreement announced this morning, said that today, in addition to the CBRT's interest rate decision, industrial production and weekly money and bank statistics will be monitored domestically. It was stated that the Producer Price Index (PPI) in the USA and the Eurozone industrial production data will be monitored closely. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1,440 stands out as the resistance and the level of 1,390 is in the support position for the BIST 100 index.
