BIST 100 Index Started Tuesday With A Rise

BIST 100 index started Tuesday with a rise. BIST 100 index gained 0.17 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1,440.67 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which increased by 2.39 points and 0.17 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,440.67 points. While the banking index gained 0.37 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.17 percent. Among the sector indices, sports with 0.64 percent gained the most, while the most decline was recorded on communication with 0.21 percent. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul moved horizontally and closed the day at 1,438.28 points, 0.03 percent below the previous close. Analysts stated that the focus of investors today is the August inflation data to be announced in the USA, and stated that a mixed course was followed in the global stock markets before the data was carefully monitored in terms of the calendar to be followed by the US Federal Reserve to reduce asset purchases. Today, it was stated that home sales statistics will be followed in the country. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.420 stands out as the support and the level of 1455 is in a position of resistance for the BIST 100 index.
