BIST 100 Index Started Wednesday With A Rise

BIST 100 index started Wednesday with a rise. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day with 1.384.57 percent.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 2.01 points and 0.14 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,384.57 points. While the banking index lost 0.07 value at the opening, the holding index gained 0.16 percent. Among the sector indices, IT was the most profitable with 0.77 percent, while the most decline was recorded on real estate investment trust with 0.61 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which was acting with sellers on Tuesday, lost 0.72 percent and ended the day with 1,382.58 points. Analysts stated that a mixed course was followed with the ongoing volatility in commodity prices in global markets and concerns about the delta variant in the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic. Reminding that the reports of the US Federal Reserve's (FED) meeting will be followed today, analysts stated that the meeting will primarily focus on reducing asset purchases, increasing interest rates, inflation and labor markets. In technically terms, it was stated that levels of 1.400 and 1.440 are in the resistance position and the level of 1,350 stands out as support for the BIST 100 index.
