BIST 100 Index Started Wednesday With Gains
BIST 100 index started Wednesday with gains. BIST 100 index gained 0.24 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1,374.94 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which gained 3.27 points and 0.24 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,374.94 points.
While the banking index gained 0.19 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.34 percent. Among the sector indices, tourism was the highest earner with 0.99 percent, while the most decline was recorded on securities investment partnership with 1.54 percent.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul closed the day at 1,371.67 points with a decrease of 0.12 percent after the seller's move.
Analysts stated that the developments regarding the delta variant of the coronavirus (Covid-19) remained at the focus of the agenda, and stated that despite the concerns about the rapid spread, the positive news that some vaccines are effective against new variants supported the risk appetite.
Analysts, who stated that the verbal guidance of the
US Federal Reserve (FED) officials will continue to be followed, said that today, intensive data on foreign trade statistics in the country, private sector employment in the USA, leading inflation in the Eurozone and growth in the UK will be monitored closely.
In technical terms, analysts stated that the levels of 1.360 and 1.340 will be followed as support and the level of 1.400 stands out as resistance for the BIST 100 index.
