BIST 100 Started Friday With A Decline
BIST 100 index started Friday with a decline. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day with a decrease of 0.31% at 2.008.05 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which lost value by 6.16 points and 0.31 percent compared to the previous close, fell to 2.008.05 points.
While the banking index depreciated by 0.41 percent at the opening, the holding index depreciated by 0.29 percent. Among the sector indices, tourism was the highest earner with 0.84 percent, while the most decline was recorded on mining with 0.81 percent.
BIST 100 index, which went down with the sales that increased its effect close to the close in Borsa Istanbul yesterday, finished the day at 2.014.21 points with a 1.36 percent depreciation.
Analysts stated that inflation concerns and geopolitical risks caused volatility in the stock markets to remain high, and said that the news flow regarding the meeting of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Geneva today will be decisive on the direction of the markets.
Analysts said that today, the consumer confidence index in the country and the Eurozone, along with the leading indicators index in the USA will be monitored closely.
It was stated that the level of 2.070 stands out as the resistance, and the levels of 1.970 and 1.950 are in the support position for the BIST 100 index.
