BIST 100 Started Friday With an Increase

BIST 100 index started Friday with an increase. BIST 100 index gained 0.30 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1,376.88 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 4.10 points and 0.30 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,376.88 points. While the banking index gained 0.15 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.99 percent. While the holding that gained the most among the sector indices, the most decline was recorded on the securities investment trust with 0.95 percent. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul entered an upward trend. BIST 100 index, which gained 1.21 percent value, finished the day with 1,372.78 points. Analysts stated that guidance with all kinds of data and words that will give clues in terms of the delta variant of the coronavirus and said that the course of monetary policies continues to remain in the focus of the stock markets, and in this context, the non-farm employment and unemployment rate to be announced in the USA today is of critical importance. Stating that the non-farm employment in the USA, which was below the expectations with 559 thousand in May, is estimated to reach 700 thousand in June, the analysts also reminded that today, in addition to the export figures in the country and the statements of the European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde will be closely monitored today. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1,350 stands out as support, and the level of 1,390 was in the resistance position for the BIST 100 index.
