Borsa İstanbul 100 index increased by 0.19 percent in the first half of the day to 115,860.52 points.
The BIST 100 index increased by 218.48 points compared to the previous close as of 13.00, while the total transaction volume was 5.6 billion TL. In the first half, the banking index fell 0.27 percent and the holding index fell 0.21 percent. Among the industry indices, mining was the most earning at 7.11 percent, and the most decreasing was sports with 4.21 percent.
After yesterday's sharp decline, the BIST 100 index, which started today with a decrease, has increased with reaction purchases after seeing 114,453.40 points and is balanced just below 116,000 points.
Analysts stated that the developments in Syria are at the center of the agenda and that the data to be announced, especially the Purchasing Managers Index in the USA, will be followed in the afternoon.
Markets are expected to be released after the closure of the international credit rating agency Fitch Ratings stated that analysts expected Turkey's evaluation of the technical aspects of BIST 100 index, noted that in view of significant support in terms of the level of 115,000.
