Dailymotion also Appointed a Representative to Turkey

Dailymotion has also appointed a representative to Turkey. After TikTok, Dailymotion also took a step for representation. After social media platforms like VK and Tiktok appointed representatives to Turkey, Dailymotion joined those platforms. Ömer Fatih Sayan, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, announced the news on his Twitter account. Sayan used the following expressions in his post: "After TikTok, good news came from Dailymotion. Dailymotion, a stocial network provider with more than 1 million daily access, has appointed a representative in Turkey We expect the same step as soon as possible from social networks that have not yet appointed a representative! "   Sayan continued his post as follows: "With the advent of social networks, our citizens will be able to find a solution for the negativity they encounter in social networks. Counterfeit accounts, fraud, bullying, etc.  our citizens will be able to find solutions to their complaints more easily. The Law No. 7253 "Amending the Law on Regulating Broadcasts on the Internet and Combating Crimes Committed Through These Broadcasts", also known as the "Social Media Law", entered into force as of October 1. Within the framework of this law, obligations to appoint, identifying and reporting representatives had been brought to the social media companies that have a foreign origin and has a daily access over 1 million in Turkey, and time was given until November 2. During the period in question, the world’s most widely used social network providers VK and Youtube appointed their representatives to Turkey and informed the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA).
