“Electricity Consumption Passed The Pre-Epidemic Period”
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez made a statement on Turkey's
electricity consumption, “Electricity Consumption Passed The Pre-Epidemic Period”
Fatih Dönmez, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, who posted on his social media account, announced the electricity consumption values of the industry, residence and business groups for the January-September period.
According to the data share by Ministers Dönmez, the industrial electricity consumption in Turkey rose to 9.1 million in September megawatt hours, 5 million megawatt hours in dwellings, while in commercial buildings reached 5.6 million megawatt hours.
This amount was recorded as 6.1 million megawatt hours in industry in April, while it was 5 million megawatt hours in residential buildings and 3.4 million megawatt hours in businesses.
Minister Fatih Dönmez, in his post on the subject, said, "Our electricity consumption, which is the harbinger of production and added value in our industrial and commercial establishments, is over the pre-epidemic period. Increased production, export and commercial activities added power to our energy."
