Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on April 18 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 885 thousand 482 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 827 thousand 834 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 37 thousand 625 megawatt-hour at 2 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 28 thousand 813 megawatt-hour at 8 am.
While 885 thousand 482 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 827 thousand 834 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 20.9 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 17 percent and wind power plants with 15.6 percent.
While 663 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 9,504 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
