Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on February 21 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 873 thousand 21 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 866 thousand 839 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 39 thousand 713 megawatt-hour at 2 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 30 thousand 963 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 873 thousand 21 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 866 thousand 839 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 33.4 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 23.1 percent and wind power plants with 12.9 percent.
Besides, 4,304 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 10,317 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
