Electricity Production and Consumption of Turkey has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 856 thousand 677 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 853 thousand 222 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.

According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 39 thousand 328 megawatt-hour at 7 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 30 thousand 614 megawatt-hour at 6 am.
While 856 thousand 677 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 853 thousand 222 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 33.3 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 18.2 percent and wind power plants with 14.2 percent.
Besides, 811 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 4,206 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
