Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on October 10 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 814 thousand 720 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 804 thousand 242 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 37 thousand 939 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 28 thousand 531 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 814 thousand 720 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 804 thousand 242 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 33.84 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 20.77 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 17.82 percent.
Besides, 760 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 11,237 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
