Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on October 11 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 774 thousand 221 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 765 thousand 237 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 36 thousand 354 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 28 thousand 105 megawatt-hour at 8 am.
While 774 thousand 221 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 765 thousand 237 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 33.23 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 20.86 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 16.26 percent.
Besides, 827 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 10,811 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
