Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on October 25 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 766 thousand 692 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 755 thousand 379 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 36 thousand 263 megawatt-hour at 7 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 23 thousand 236 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 766 thousand 692 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 755 thousand 379 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 34.26 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 23.89 percent and lignite coal plants with 15.02 percent.
Besides, 277 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 12,590 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
