Elon Musk Requested Some Changes To Dogecoin

Elon Musk requested some changes to Dogecoin. Musk shared his thoughts on Twitter.

Elon Musk, founder of the electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla, continues to tweet about Dogecoin. In his response to a Twitter user today, Musk said that some important changes need to be made in Dogecoin. Musk stated that in Dogecoin, it would be better to accelerate the block time by 10 times and increase the block sizes by 10 times. Musk replied to the following tweet: "Elon chose Dogecoin because it is better than Bitcoin in many ways. Dogecoin is faster than BTC, its fees are lower, and it has less environmental impact." Responding to this tweet, Elon Musk said, "The ideal is to speed up the block time in Dogecoin by 10 times, increase the block size by 10 times and reduce fees by 100 times. Dogecoin will be unrivaled in this way." Tesla CEO stated that for Dogecoin to become the currency of the world, transaction fees should be lower and the volume should be higher. Currently, Dogecoin's block size is limited to 1 megabyte. More than 33 thousand transactions have been made in Dogecoin in the last 24 hours. Every hour, 379 transactions take place on the blockchain. The average transaction fee is currently $ 1.60. Three months ago that fee was 90 percent less. At the time of writing, Dogecoin is trading at $ 0.52.
