BIST 100 Started Friday With Gains

BIST 100 index started Friday with gains. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day with an increase of 0.63 percent at 2,020.27 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 12.73 points and 0.63 percent compared to the previous close, reached 2,020.27 points. While the banking index gained 0.32 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.50 percent. While all sector indices started the day with an increase, most increase was recorded on transportation with 1.44 percent. After starting the day with a decline, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started to rise with the purchases that came close to the closing, and closed the day at 2.007.55 points with an increase of 0.11 percent. Analysts stated that the volatility in the global stock markets has gradually decreased after the minutes of the US Federal Reserve's (Fed) meeting on Wednesday, and noted that the employment report, which is effective in the Fed's monetary policy decisions will be important. It was stated that today, treasury cash realizations in the country, inflation in the Eurozone, non-farm employment, unemployment and average hourly earnings data in the USA will be monitored closely. In technical terms, analysts stated that the levels of 1.960 and 1.930 are in the support position and the level of 2.050 stands out as the resistance for the BIST 100 index.
