As it is known, the US Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) imposed sanctions on several North Korean Ethereum wallets linked to the hacking of the Ronin Blockchain network and expanded its research in this direction.
As these efforts continue, the
U.S. Treasury announced on Twitter that it has added three more cryptocurrency wallet addresses to the Specially Designated National (SDN) and Blocked Persons List.
However, in the published report, it was stated that North Korea "relies on illegal activities such as cybercrime to generate income", while it was emphasized that people who make any transactions with the specified addresses "risk of being exposed to US sanctions".
