Indices in the USA started the day with a decline. Indices on the American stock market opened Wednesday with a decline ahead of the decision to be announced after the
US Federal Reserve's (FED) meeting.
At the opening, the Dow Jones index lost nearly 300 points and traded at 30,640.97 points, down 0.96 percent.
The S&P 500 index began trading at 3,805.03 points, down 1.16 percent, and the Nasdaq index at 13,458.57 points, down 1.23 percent.
Indices turned downwards before the decisions to be announced after the Fed's Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting.
Analysts who made evaluations on the issue stated that they expect the Fed to not change interest rates, while it was noted search for clues on for future policies will be made on Fed Chairman Jerome Powell's statements.
In addition, it was stated that the quarterly balance sheets of technology giants such as Apple, Tesla and Facebook, which are expected to be announced today, will be at the focus of the markets.
