Halkbank Bought its Shares Back
Halkbank, one of the state-owned banks, recorded a share buyback of 8.85 million lots on September 20 within the framework of its active share buyback program. Share purchases were made at prices of 8.06-8.58 TL.
While banking stocks in the stock market had active days, a share
buyback step was seen from the public bank Halkbank.
In its notification to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Türkiye
Halk Bankası A.Ş. recorded a total of 8.85 million lots of share repurchases on September 20 within the framework of its active share buyback program. The total value of these purchases of the bank was announced as 72.5 million TL.
Halkbank's shares started the day at 8.76 TL, the lowest level during the day was 8.06; The highest level was recorded as 8.92. The bank's shares ended the day at 8.41, down 6.03 percent. In the share buybacks realized today, the largest purchase was realized at 8.06 TL with 4.02 million lots.
