Statement from the Danish Energy Agency: "Gas Leaks at 1 and 2 have stopped"
The Danish Energy Agency announced that the natural gas leaks in Russia's Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines in the Baltic Sea are under control.
The agency, which reported that the natural gas leakage in the Nord Stream 2 pipeline stopped last day, announced today that the gas leakage in the Nord Stream 1 pipeline has been repaired.
In the statement recorded on the official Twitter account of the organization, it was stated that gas outflows from the pipelines were completed and constant pressure was reached.
Leaks in Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines
There were warnings of 4 leaks in Russia's Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines off the coast of Denmark and Sweden, underlining the warning that ships "should not dock in the region".
Both countries announced that there were signs that the leaks were the result of a deliberate action, not an accident. The European Union (EU) also stated that the gas leaks in the pipelines were the result of a deliberate action and not accidental.
Natural gas deliveries through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline were halted on August 31 due to lack of necessary maintenance.
