Turkey's Growth Forecast Raised to 5 Percent in Bloomberg Survey!
Growth expectation for the first quarter was raised from 3.4 percent to 5 percent in the Bloomberg survey.
Turkey's growth forecast was raised to 5 percent in the Bloomberg survey. In the survey conducted with the participation of 30 economists, the growth expectation for the first quarter was increased from 3.4 percent to 5 percent. There was also a limited upward change in the expectations for the whole of 2021.
In the survey prepared by Bloomberg and conducted with the participation of 30 economists,
growth and inflation expectations were changed upwards.
In the said survey, the growth expectation for the first quarter of the year was increased from 3.4 percent to 5 percent. There was also an upward change in the growth expectation for the whole year. This year's growth expectation, which was 4.8 percent in the previous survey, was recorded as 5 percent in the last survey.
Expectations on the inflation side were revised along with the growth forecasts. It was noted that economists expected the average inflation in 2021 as 14.8 percent in the last survey, which they expected as 14 percent in the previous survey.
There was no change in the policy rate expectations for the second quarter. In the previous survey, the policy rate expectation for the second quarter of the year was recorded as 19 percent. This expectation was kept constant in the last survey.
