Vaccine Request from TESK Chairman Palandöken
TESK Chairman Bendevi Palandöken asked that tradesmen be given priority in vaccination studies.
A vaccine request came from TESK Chairman Palandöken.
Bendevi Palandöken, President of the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), stated that the rate of spread of the coronavirus epidemic will decrease if the tradesmen are vaccinated with priority.
In the written statement made by Palandöken, he drew attention to the priority should be given to the vaccination of tradesmen operating in public transportation, those who work in businesses such as cafes-restaurants and coffee houses, and those who are in direct contact with the citizens such as barbers, hairdressers, buffets, butchers, tailors and grocery store workers.
Stating that the coronavirus epidemic will slow down thanks to this application, Palandöken said that citizens can also shop from tradesmen more reliably.
In his written statement, Palandöken said, “First of all, if the tradesmen are vaccinated, they will return to normal life quickly. One of the professions with the highest risk of contamination and the most important is our shopkeepers, taxi drivers, minibus drivers and public bus drivers. The opening of schools is also on the agenda.”
Referring to workplaces that are currently completely closed, such as the coffee houses, game rooms and restaurants, Palandöken stated that the
vaccination of tradesmen and employees will be an important step in opening such places.
