BIST 100 Index Started Tuesday Horizontally
BIST 100 index started Tuesday horizontally. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul lost value by 0.02 percent and started the day at 1,391.44 points.
At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which decreased by 0.30 points and 0.02 percent compared to the previous close, dropped to 1,391.44 points.
While the banking index depreciated by 0.12 at the opening, the holding index gained 0.05 percent. Among the sector indices, financial leasing and factoring were the most profitable with 0.62 percent, while the most decline was recorded on electricity with 0.84 percent.

Borsa Istanbul followed a buying-heavy course and closed the day at 1,391.74 points with an increase of 0.51 percent.
Analysts stated that uncertainty in global markets has increased due to problems in the supply chain around the world, insufficient energy supply and increasing raw material prices.
Stating that the price of Brent oil per barrel, which continued its upward trend with the negativities on the supply side, rose to its highest level since October 2018 with 79.5 dollars and the natural gas price increased to an all-time high in Europe, analysts noted that country and sector-based differentiations may occur in the markets.
It was reported that the speech of the US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell to the Senate Banking Committee will be monitored today.
In technical terms, it was stated that the levels of 1.390 and 1.370 are in the support position and the level of 1.420 stands out as the resistance for the
BIST 100 index.
